About Me

Hi! I'm Natalia.

I come to this work through the transformation of my own pain. Rough life experiences started me on the journey of reconnecting with my own body and all the power and wisdom that lies within it. Before it started happening, I truly never could have guessed healing was possible. But after seeing and feeling the magic of it in action, I knew I wanted to help guide others on their passages through struggle. I love that I get to stay close to that magic in the work I do, as I support others on their paths of healing and embodiment.

My formal embodiment training and work started in yoga and a kind of nervous system-centered bodywork called Bowenwork. Eventually, I found myself in the Somatic Psychology program at California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS), where I graduated in 2020.

Among those who I've had the privilege of being directly taught by are Linda Thai, Deb Dana, Amber Elizabeth Gray, Shirley Bar-Dvir, Angela Porter and Dr. Nick Walker. I am deeply influenced by the work of Prentis Hemphill, Resmaa Menakem, Kathy Kain, Peter Levine, Dan Siegel and countless others. I'm grateful for the tremendous knowledge gathered by all my teachers (including their lineages of teachers), as well as the other labor of many flavors they have engaged in to spread it.

While I'm not formally trained in ecotherapy, I bring to my work years of experience of living off-grid and other ways of moving toward closer relationship to the land.

When I'm not being a therapist, you can find me tending food and medicine plants, making sounds, and playing in forests and waters.
